PROGRAM

October 5, 2020

The first of the two sessions of the 2020 GDR3E WebCongress is dedicated to conceptual questions about epigenetics and non-genetic inheritance, to the molecular bases of epigenetics and to emerging methods and analysis pipelines for the study of epigenetics at the supra-individual level. Please ask your questions via the Chat tool.

9 a.m.-9.10 a.m .: Introduction to the conference (Christoph Grunau & Séverine Chambeyron)

October 6, 2020

The second session of the 2020 GDR3E WebCongress will allow exchanging ideas on the study of epigenetics in non-model organisms, how to cope with the specific challenges associated with these models and indicate solutions. We will then have opportunity to explore the “dark matter” matter of the genomes (repetitive sequences) and terminate the morning with presentations of the interaction of epigenetics and social environment. Please use the Chat tool for your questions and comments.

9: 00-9: 05: Introduction to AXIS 5. Non-model species (flesh: Christoph Grunau; Nicolas Nègre)

9:05 am - 9:20 am: Estelle Jaligot - A textbook case for the influence of epigenetic stresses on the phenotype: the oil palm

9.20-9.35am: Elisa Dell'Aglio - Epigenetics regulations paralleling endosymbionts dynamics in the rice weevil Sitophilus oryzae

9: 35-9: 50 a.m .: Julie Leclercq - Transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulations in response to stress: a case study in rubber tree
